The Council of Europe invites representatives of higher education institutions from the Council of Europe member states to attend an online consultation session on 15 March 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 am, organised in cooperation with the European University Association (EUA) and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE).

The Council of Europe Ad Hoc Working Group on Automatic Recognition has been working since 2022, examining the existing diverse practices and looking into the possibilities of promoting automatic recognition of qualifications, including by establishing a legal text on automatic recognition of qualifications. 
The purpose of this discussion is to gain an insight into the views of the higher education institutions representatives on the important topic of automatic recognition.
