Back "The Key to Media Literacy": a new online self-learning course now available

Have you ever wanted to do a self-learning course but not had the time on your hands to do one? With this new course which has been developed in the framework of the LEMON Project (‘LEarning Modules ONline’) of the Council of Europe Education Department you will need only two hours to grasp the key concepts of Media Literacy.

Topics addressed in the course include: the importance of media literacy, key elements to consider when assessing online information and the role of educators in the digital age.

The ‘Key to Media Literacy’ course is the first in the new ‘Keys’ series of short online courses proposed by the Education Department.

The next course in this series ‘The Keys to Competences for Democratic Culture’ is currently being developed and will be available in autumn 2020.

Currently, there are 12 self-learning courses available on the platform, which we warmly invite you to discover here: Council of Europe Education Portal for Online Learning
