The game "Beat the Virus" developed by the Council of Europe Education Department has recently received extensive media attention in Greece with 27 news articles published in national and regional newspapers as well as news sites, two radio interviews and one TV interview broadcasted on a national channel.
The Greek version of the game, implemented also as "online" version, has been widely disseminated through the Greek education community and promoted via several schools' websites.
The game helps parents to keep their children busy during the current COVID-19 crisis while teaching them how to be digital citizens. The game is currently available in 14 languages.
Other Council of Europe materials recently developed relating to Digital Citizenship Education (DCE) include the leaflet for parents "Easy steps to help your child become a Digital Citizen" and ten lesson plans.
