With a view to facilitate process of analysing and auditing asset declarations to relevant oversight bodies, series of exchanges with representatives of relevant structures took place on 25-26 June in online format. The meeting is a part of the global activity, targeted to reinforce system of asset declarations in the EaP region. It focused on obtaining an overview on how oversight bodies prioritise which declarations/declarants are audited in detail each year, and identify expectations of oversight bodies towards an ideal mechanism of selecting declarations.

Information collected will feed into a regional technical paper supporting asset declaration oversight bodies in setting up or improving a mechanism for prioritizing their declarations, as part of the EU/CoE Partnership for Good Governance Regional Project “Strengthening measures to prevent and combat economic crime.”
