The Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform was organised training on Human Resourse Management for Local Self-government through Leadership Academy in Belarus on 4-5 of May in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration by the Office of the President of Belarus.

The goal of the first stage of this activity was a capacity building of the officials and local elected reprentatives related to how to tackle challenges faced by their local communities, to work effectively with local people and organisations, to develop the personal awareness, knowledge, skills and attitudes that form the foundation of good leadership.

The events were organized as a part of the programme "Strengthening institutional frameworks for local governance in the Eastern Partnership countries" under the Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF) for 2015-2017 funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Council of Europe.
