The members of the CDCPP Bureau will meet officially in person in Strasbourg on 24-25 May 2023 to discuss the ongoing work of the Steering Committee this year. The agenda is a rich and diverse combination of ongoing work from Council of Europe Conference of Ministers of Culture (Strasbourg, 1 April 2022) and new strands to emerge following the 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government (Reykjavik, 16-17 May 2023).

Notable items on the agenda include the work on guidelines given the latest technological developments, such as Artificial Intelligence, complementing Council of Europe standards in the fields of culture, creativity and cultural heritage, and the development of the “Free to Create, Create to be Free” project on freedom of artistic expression, as well as the preparation of European Heritage Days 2023 in the member States, under the theme “Living heritage”.
