A Guide to Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights available in Serbian

The Guide to Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights is part of the series of Case-Law Guides published by the European Court of Human Rights to inform legal practitioners about the fundamental judgments and decisions delivered by the Strasbourg Court. This particular Guide analyses and sums up the case-law under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, freedom of expression. It covers the period from 1957 to 31 August 2020.

Readers will find herein the key principles in this area and the relevant precedents. The case-law cited has been selected among the leading, major, and/or recent judgments and decisions.

This publication was prepared within the action "Freedom of expression and freedom of the media in Serbia (JUFREX)" which is part of the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022". This joint initiative for co-operation aims to support beneficiaries in the Western Balkans and Turkey to align their legal frameworks and practices with the Council of Europe and the European Union standards in the framework of enlargement process, where relevant.
