The Democratic Governance Division is responsible for overseeing the work of the intergovernmental European Committee on Democracy and Governance and the assistance and cooperation activities implemented by the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance aimed at improving legislation in the area of decentralisation and public administration and at strengthening the institutional capacity of local, regional and central authorities.

Executive Committee of Gagauzia to be trained on records management and legal drafting

The Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform, through the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, will organise two capacity-building trainings for the personnel of the Executive Committee of TAU Gagauzia on 21-22 and 21-22 July.  The participants – 40 persons - will benefit from a series of training sessions on regulations for public procurement, public records management, labor relations, legal techniques for drafting normative acts, etiquette and ethics in state institutions and other.

This activity is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Council of Europe, within the Thematic Programme “Strengthening institutional frameworks for local governance” under the Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) 2015-2017 for Eastern Partnership countries.
