European Workshop: „ Sustainable Development and Citizenship: Educational Challenges “ Amiens (France), 27 September – 1 October 2011

CONTEXT Intended for teachers whose pupils are aged between 11 and 18 years, the workshop will focus on the issue of sustainable development and its educational challenges. It will be based on Council of Europe guidelines, in particular in the field of Education for Democratic Citizenship. One of the orientations aims to integrate the development of democratic knowledge, skills and attitudes in the daily learning process. During this session, work will concentrate to a large extent on the exchange of experiences. Therefore  participants should prepare suitable material before the workshop.
