CONTEXT
In recent years Intercultural Education has become a major topic of discussion in the field of education which addresses a wide range of education professionals at all school levels. During the training session that will comprise lectures, interactive activities and case studies, the participants will learn more about :
· Culture and intercultural education;
· Stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination and identity and their identification (through active classroom approaches)
· Creating concrete situations for practice with a view to generating a stimulating learning atmosphere;
· Good practice on these issues from Slovenia and other European countries.
TARGET GROUP
Pre-school ; primary school ; lower and upper secondary school ; colleges, universities ; teacher education ; continuing education ; educational media ; school managers, policy makers.
