European Workshop:
„Teaching for intercultural understanding“

CONTEXT
The workshop will focus on education practices in the classroom helping learners to better understand intercultural environments and experience them. It will examine how the school can contribute to the integration (learn to live together) and also the impact this issue can have on the education policy in general, the school policy and the professional approach and attitude of the teachers.
During this session, work will mainly consist of exchanges of experience for which the participants will have to be prepared before the workshop. It will be based on Council of Europe guidelines, in particular in the field of diversity and dialogue.
TARGET GROUP
Teachers (pupils aged 5 to 18 years), school heads from lower and upper secondary schools, as well as education inspectors.
