European Workshop: „Education and Remembrance “ Warsaw (Poland), 24-30 April 2010

CONTEXT The workshop combines different methodological approaches to foster a better understanding of the past and present situation of Jews in Poland and to raise greater awareness to the Teaching Remembrance issue, with lectures given by experts about history and culture of Jews in Poland, study visits to two Warsaw schools, to the Warsaw Ghetto, to places connected with Jewish history and culture, and at memorials and authentic memorial sites (Treblinka).
