European Workshop:
„ Culinary Imagination : History, Representations, cultures “
Geneva (Switzerland), 19-21 May 2010
|
|
____________________________________________________________
|
CONTEXT
Culinary imagination addresses the organisation of human societies and the numerous migrations having forged/built them progressively.
A better understanding of practices and culinary imagination within human societies through space and time enables us to perceive and put into perspective certain identity markers/ identifiers and the migrations they originate from, by inscribing/engraving them in the humanity’s community of destiny.
The present training will provide the opportunity, by means of lectures and workshops proposed on historic issues, to more easily draw up a multi-cultural training activity on the theme of culinary history.
