OAS extends registration deadline for online course on Evaluation in Education for Democratic Citizenship
16/10/2012 - The Organization of
American States (OAS) through its Department of Human Development, Education and Culture has decided to extend the registration deadline for the online course:
“Evaluation of Policies and Programs in Education for Democratic Citizenship”.
Interested candidates may register to participate in this new edition until
November 9th. The course will begin on November 16th, 2012 and will end on February 15th, 2013. Please note that there will be a
break during the holiday
season (December 17th – January 6th).
The Office of Education and Culture is offering 20 full scholarships. Partial financial aid is also available for participants who fulfill all the requirements.
The primary goal of this course
is to build regional capacity for the evaluation of education for democratic citizenship policies and programs, and to encourage the creation of collaborative networks among participants from OAS member states, which may contribute to achieving more effective
and sustainable evaluation plans.
