The purpose of the event was to promote effective dialogue and interaction between the executive authority of the central and local levels, civil society and the expert community in advancing reforms at the regional level.

Representatives of political parties, NGOs and mass media of Donetsk region discussed the prospects of electoral reform in Ukraine and the establishing of the upcoming parliamentary elections in the proportional electoral system with open lists, public funding of political parties and the issue of internal democracy.
