In the framework of the first European Human Rights Moot Court Competition, Ireland has granted a voluntary contribution 15.000 EUR for the project organised by the Council of Europe and the European Law Students' Association (ELSA). Ambassador Peter Gunning, Permanent Representative of Ireland to the Council of Europe has participated to the ceremony with Deputy Secretary General Gabriella Battaini Dragoni. The competition simulates the procedure of complaints to the European Court of Human Rights.
