On the occasion of the 100th Plenary Session of the European Commission for Democracy through Law, better known as Venice Commission, Gabriella Battaini Dragoni has been received today by the President of the Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano (in the photo together with Gianni Buquicchio, President of the Venice Commission). President Napolitano has expressed his appreciation for the work of the Council of Europe and for the successful constitutional engineering mission operated by the Venice Commission.

At the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Deputy Secretary General has opened the Plenary session with (amongst the others) the Undersecretary of State Benedetto Della Vedova.
