The closing seminar of the training course on AI and anti-discrimination for public institutions and regulators will take place in co-operation with the Belgian Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism (UNIA). The seminar marks the conclusion of an online learning programme composed of e-learning modules and webinars, which around 60 staff members from various Belgian ministries and regulatory bodies have completed over the past months. The training is organised in the framework of the joint EU-CoE project “Upholding equality and non-discrimination by Equality bodies regarding the use of artificial intelligence in public administrations” and it equips public authorities with knowledge to identify, prevent, and address algorithmic discrimination.
