The winners of the 2018 Contest “Best Practices in Local Government” participated in 5th European Congress of Local Government. The event took place in Krakow on 8-9 April. The visit was organized by the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine in co-operation with the Council of Europe Programme “Decentralisation and local government reform in Ukraine”. Delegation consisted of 32 participants, among them representatives of local authorities of all tiers, members of the Contest selection panel and Ukrainian radio. This year four local leaders – delegation members presented their best practices during the Congress.
