A third training on legal reasoning and legal drafting with the consideration of the European Human Rights Court’s case law and decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was organised for newly appointed judges and judicial assistants from 9 - 10 December 2019 in Banja Luka, in cooperation with the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centres of Republika Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since the capacity of the judges to interpret the legal provisions in the light of the decisions of the higher courts, the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights is a condition for insurances of the coherence of judicial practice.

The training was held by eminent judges of the Supreme Courts of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.

This activity was held within the Project “Initiative for Legal Certainty and Efficient Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by voluntary contribution of the Government of Norway.
