Lochau, Austria, 28 October 2014

The 5th Review Meeting of the Rec(2004)11 took place on 28 October 2014 in Lochau/Austria. It was able to benefit from synergies with the “EVOTE 2014” conference, held from 29 to 31 October in the same venue.

The review Meeting was an opportunity to bring countries up to date regarding the latest developments on e-voting in Europe. We also entered into first discussions as to the content of the upcoming update of the Recommendation. The results of the Review Meeting also fed directly into relevant discussions at the World Forum for Democracy only a week later, on 3-5 November 2014, in Strasbourg.
