Back The Council of Europe publishes the report with the results of an on-line survey on possible preventive and compensatory remedies for lengthy judicial proceedings in Ukraine

The Council of Europe and the company “Research & Branding Group” conducted an on-line survey on possible preventive and compensatory remedies for lengthy judicial proceedings in Ukraine. The survey was organized within the Council of Europe projects “Support to the implementation of the judicial reform in Ukraine” (2017) and “Supporting Ukraine in execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights” (2018).

The survey aimed at identification and analysis of an expert opinion with regard to preventive and compensatory remedies for lengthy judicial proceedings which exist in other Council of Europe member states, in the context of their application in Ukraine. Draft Report was presented during an expert discussion “Effective remedies for lengthy judicial proceedings: execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the cases Svetlana Naumenko v. Ukraine and Merit v. Ukraine” which took place on 25 June 2018 in Kyiv. The event was organized by the Council of Europe project “Supporting Ukraine in execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights” jointly with the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
