- Founded in 1123, the Cistercian Monastery of São Cristóvão de Lafões was rebuilt in its present form in the end of the 17th century (www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/174/lafoes). The Monastery has been transformed into an accommodation facility for rural tourism.
