Description
The Grenouillère Museum enhances the memory of the place of leisure, culture and pleasure by presenting many paintings and objects linked to the cultural environment where Impressionism began. It is a souvenir of the famous floating café and dance-hall “La Grenouillère” (Croissy-sur-Seine) where Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted their first Impressionist paintings late summer 1869.
