With an impressive overall score of 76 out of 100 in the Intercultural Cities Index, Kraków has demonstrated strong performance in key areas such as education, neighbourhood integration, cultural and social life, and anti-discrimination policies. The city’s "Open Kraków " programme, first launched in 2016, continues to play a pivotal role in fostering a cohesive and inclusive urban environment.
In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, Kraków demonstrated remarkable solidarity and support for Ukrainian refugees.
