Tunisia is the 1st non-Member state of the Council of Europe to accede to the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse ("Lanzarote Convention": CETS No. 201). This brings to 45 the number of states having chosen to be bound to this Treaty.
The Convention will enter into force as regards Tunisia on 1 February 2020.
