The Board of Management of Eurimages has elected Roberto Cicutto to chair the Fund from 1 January 2025.
The Italian producer, who has worked in the film industry for more than 40 years, was also President and CEO of Istituto Luce - Cinecittà from 2009 to 2020, before being appointed President of the Venice Biennale, his place of birth, until 2024.
He succeeds Catherine Trautmann, who has chaired the Eurimages Fund since 1 January 2017 and whose term of office ends on 31 December 2024. He will take up his duties on 1 January 2025 for a period of four years.
