The Hansa hosted the Training academy 2019 in Visby, Sweden

From 4 to 7 June 2019 the Cultural Routes Training Academy has held in Visby, Sweden. Inger Harlevi, manager of The Hansa, Cultural Route of the Council of Europe organised the event in collaboration with European Institute of Cultural Routes.

During 4 days the participants attended information sessions about the Cultural Routes’ Programme and the next cycle of evaluation 2019-2020; presentations of good practices from the certified Cultural Routes and conferences related to youth and financing, main topics of the meeting. This year the training academy had more than sixty participants including representatives from the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, representatives from networks wishing to apply for the “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” certification, and experts representing international organisations. Ms. Jan Lindenau, President of the Hansa and Mayor of Lübeck, Ms. Eva Nypelius, Mayor of Region Gotland and Ms. Maria Winkman, Representative of Sweden, Observer State with the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the council of Europe also attended the meeting.
