On 6 December 2024, Anush Harutyunyan, Focal Point of the CoE’s “Journalists Matter Campaign” conducted an information session at the Yerevan State University presenting the Campaign to the future journalists and underscored the essential role of educational institutions in promoting awareness of media freedom and encouraging active participation in such campaigns. Students were urged to contribute to shaping a resilient media landscape where journalists can operate freely and without fear.
The meeting led to a vibrant and insightful discussion and students demonstrated a keen interest in the initiative and raised thought-provoking questions, showcasing their dedication to understanding and addressing the challenges faced by media professionals.
