- The D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station is the largest still operational steam-powered pumping station in the world. It was listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998, and included a visitor center.
The D.F. Wouda Steam Pumping Station is an Anchor Point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
