Council of Europe’s EPAS team will carry out a support and follow-up visit for the implementation of the European Sports Charter in Armenia. Discussions will include meetings with Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, as well as representatives of national and local public authorities, the sport movement, educational institutions, civil society organisations, sports federations, athletes, volunteers, event organisers and media. The programme will also include visits to sports facilities and institutions in Yerevan. Exchanges will focus on the European Sports Charter’s key priorities, including participation in sport, sport governance, education through sport, high-performance sport, and the development of sustainable and inclusive sport policies.
