The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities is organising the “Youth Labs for Democracy and Human Rights in Georgia”. The inaugural event will bring together young people from across the country - particularly from rural and minority communities - for a series of interactive workshops focused on democratic participation, human rights, and local engagement. Working in regional teams, participants will begin shaping their own community-based initiatives to promote active citizenship and human rights localisation. The initiative is implemented within the project “Advancing Participatory and Human Rights-Based Local Democracy in Georgia”  within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2024-2027 with support from the Austrian Development Cooperation.
