Administrative body of the capital city of Copenhagen (Capital Region of Denmark).
The Technology and Environment Management (Teknik- og Miljøforvaltningen) is responsible for the maintenance and development of urban environment and infrastructures. Within this framework, the City of Copenhagen operates 5 cemeteries.
The Municipality of Copenhagen represents the Assistens Cemetery (Assistens Kirkegård) in the European Cemeteries Route, Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
