- The main objective of LRE Italy, LRI (est. 2019) is to create and expand a commemoration route that connects the regions where the Liberation of Italy from the Nazi occupation and the Fascist regime took place, in the period between 1943-1945. LRI aims to promote respect and dissemination of the universal values of peace, freedom and democracy.
Founders of LRE Italy are the municipalities of Lucca, Capannori and Borgo a Mozzano, the National Park of Peace of Sant'Anna di Stazzema and Turislucca. LRI Association is the Italian section of the LRE Foundation.
