Descrizione

The Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings (Ditherington Flax Mill) is an historical flax mill and the is the first iron-framed building in the world (1797). The site is under restoration and whilst the Visitor Center opened as an interactive experience and education facility.
The Friends of the Flaxmill Maltings is working in partnership with Historic England and Shropshire Council to find a sustainable solution for the Flaxmill Maltings.
The Flaxmill Maltings is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
