Descrizione

Pro Torpedo Rijeka (est. 2003) is a non-governmental organisation for the promotion and preservation of the industrial heritage of Rijeka and the first NGO devoted to the industrial heritage in the Republic of Croatia. The Association endeavours to spread the awareness of the value of Rijeka industrial heritage by its research in the local as well as international context, by organising discussions, public lectures and conferences, expert tours of the sites, and dissemination of knowledge.
The torpedo factory in Rijeka was the first torpedo factory on the world.
The Torpedo Factory “Pro Torpedo” is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
