Today, at the closing session of the World Forum for Democracy, the Council of Europe announced that the winner of its Democracy Innovation Award is "Mine, yours, our vote, Aurora Institute for Human Rights" - Brazil (Lab 9)

Three initiatives out of the 40 at the Forum were shortlisted for the final vote:

• Reporting Diversity Network, Media Diversity Institute Western Balkans - Serbia  (Lab 3)
• Accelerating Community Participation into Civic Spaces, Libera Initiative for Civic Engagement - Nigeria  (Lab 6)
• Mine, yours, our vote, Aurora Institute for Human Rights - Brazil  (Lab 9)

The Forum brought together in Strasbourg more than 1200 participants from 80 countries across the world to answer the question “Democracy and Diversity - Can we transcend the divides?”.
