Ms Renata Deskoska, Vice President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and member in respect of North Macedonia, participated in the Ceremony to mark the 17th Judicial Year of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. She intervened during the Panel on “The Interpretative Value of International Rules and Principles for Safeguarding Democratic Institutions” and took an active part in the discussion. Ms Deskoska delved in the role of the Venice Commission influencing constitutional interpretation in line with European standards from a comparative perspective.  This event, which took place in Pristina on 22 October 2026, celebrated the establishment of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, its institutional consolidation and the evolution of case law grounded in democratic values and the principles of the rule of law.
