By letter of 10 February 2026, the President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ms Ana Brnabić, requested an urgent opinion of the Venice Commission on the “28 January 2026 Amendments to Laws Governing the Judiciary and the Prosecution”.

The Urgent Opinion was issued on 24 April 2026 and will be submitted for endorsement at the June Plenary Session of the Venice Commission (Venice, 12-13 June 2026).
