By letter dated 11 March 2026, Mr Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, requested an Opinion of the Venice Commission on the Amendments to Laws No. 65/2023 and No. 252/2023 regarding the appointment of members to the commissions for the external evaluation of judges and prosecutors.

The draft opinion is scheduled for discussion and adoption at the 147th Plenary Session of the Venice Commission (12-13 June 2026).
