On 25 April 2025, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina offered a recognition award to the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe for providing technical assistance in its activities for the implementation of elections. "The award is given as a token of gratitude for significant support and contribution to activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina and improving the transparency of the electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina", mentions the award of the Central Election Commission of BiH, which recognizes the Venice Commission as a key partner in terms of legal expertise and harmonization of electoral procedures with international standards.
