Ms Regina Kiener, Member of the Venice Commission in respect of Switzerland, and Mr Cesare Pinelli, Substitute Member in respect of Italy, participated in a meeting of the Committee on the Honouring of Obligations and Commitments by Member States of the Council of Europe (Monitoring Committee) of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and online on the 19th of May 2026.
Ms Kiener took part in the exchange of views on “The situation in the Spanish judiciary”. Mr Pinelli participated in the hearing on “Recent legislative amendments concerning the judiciary and public prosecution (Mrdić laws)” in Serbia.
