By letter dated 24 July 2025, Mr Igor Filkov, Minister of Justice of North Macedonia, requested an opinion of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe. The request concerns the draft laws on the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Council of Public Prosecutors of North Macedonia.

The opinion will be submitted for adoption at the 144th plenary session of the Venice Commission (Venice, 9-10 October 2025).
