By letter dated 11 June 2026, Mr Bojan Božović, the Minister of Justice of Montenegro, requested an opinion on the draft amendments to the Law on the State Prosecution Service and the Law on the Special State Prosecutor's Office concerning the evaluation of state prosecutors and special prosecutors.

The draft amendments will be analysed in a follow-up opinion to the 2024 urgent follow-up opinions on the above-mentioned Laws. It is scheduled for discussion and adoption at the 148th Plenary Session of the Venice Commission (9-10 October 2026).
