By letter dated 28 October 2025, the Minister of Justice of Montenegro, Mr Bojan Božović, requested an Opinion of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe on the draft Law amending the Law on the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, following the Venice Commission’s Opinion on some questions relating to the procedure of early termination of the mandate of Constitutional Court judges due to age limits.

The draft opinion is scheduled for discussion and adoption at the 145th plenary session of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (Venice, 12-13 December 2025).
