By letters dated 3 and 11 December 2025, Ms Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė, Director General of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television, requested an urgent opinion of the Venice Commission on the amendments to the Law on the Lithuanian National Radio and Television.

The urgent opinion will be issued in due course and submitted for endorsement at the March 2026 Plenary Session of the Venice Commission.
