By letter dated 3 March 2026, Ms Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė, Director General of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television, requested an urgent follow-up opinion of the Venice Commission on the additional amendments to the Law on the Lithuanian National Radio and Television.

The urgent follow-up opinion will be issued in due course and submitted for endorsement at the June 2026 Plenary Session of the Venice Commission.
