By letter of 26 October 2021, the Minister of Justice of Kosovo requested an opinion of the Venice Commission on the draft law amending and supplementing Law no. 06/L-056 on the Prosecutorial Council. The draft opinion will be submitted for the adoption by the December 2021 plenary session (10-11 December 2021). It will be prepared under the Expertise Co-ordination Mechanism in the framework of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”.
