By letter dated 30 January 2025, Ms Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, Chairperson of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly, requested an opinion of the Venice Commission on the Fourteenth Amendment to the Fundamental Law of Hungary and on Act LXVII of 2024 amending Act CLI of 2011 on the Constitutional Court and Act CLXIV of 2011 on the Status of the Prosecutor General, Prosecutors and other Prosecution Employees and the Prosecution Career. The draft opinion is scheduled for discussion and adoption at the 143rd Plenary Session of the Venice Commission.
