The President of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has requested an Opinion of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe on recent amendments to the Organic Law of Georgia on “Political Associations of Citizens”, to Article 381 of the Criminal Code of Georgia and other related laws. The draft opinion is scheduled for discussion and adoption at the next Plenary Session of the Venice Commission (6-7 March 2026).
